Video electroencephalogram in Khozrevanidze's Clinic

• What is the purpose of this examination? To rule out or confirm epilepsy
• From what age is it allowed? from the first day of life
• Duration of video EEG examination:

As per need, it may last:

• an hour;
• 3-6 hours;
• 6-12 hours;
• 12-24hours.

Long video EEG monitoring is provided for diagnosing of the complicated forms of epilepsy and choosing of the proper therapeutic approach.

Short video EEG monitoring is provided in case of various tremors, convulsions aiming ruling out / confirmation of epileptiform activity of brain.
